Taken together, the actions issued on Day One of the Biden Administration are remarkable for their depth and breadth, requiring expedited but detailed analysis and absorption by interested parties. In particular, actions were focused on laws and regulations that will impact environmental and energy policies, health care matters related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the utilization of natural resources. In the first three days alone, the Administration issued over 25 executive orders and actions, with more anticipated in the coming days and weeks. On January 20, 2021, the Biden Administration began delivering on its commitment to issue a wide-ranging and forceful suite of actions that will impact virtually all sectors of the economy.
